I welded a grab hook onto an evener and have been wanting to try it for about 3 weeks now, but it’s been too muddy. I got to try it today, and try the roads we’ll use for the wood bee. Everything went great except my weld broke after about 20′ of pulling. (Welder friend says I should have used DC current to weld it.) So I tied the chain on (safety issue?) and went. I kept the chain centered. This was my first time skitching out logs without a sled or cart. I bet they can pull more but wanted to keep the loads down on rough terrain.
I really like this logging with the team. Gotta do some more!

Great work, The ground looks a little soft still. The team looks like they are enjoying the work. Nothing more satisfying than working with a good team. If you need help with the welding let me know.
