Great, any luck with the scoot project? If we had some plans or something i would think we could fumble through it as a group and build something that would work ?
December 1, 2011 at 1:44 am #70099JeanParticipantThe scoot will be built. Plans are for sure in the works.
Is anybody that is planning on going to the workshop a maple syrup producer? I need to get some syrup to send to my family in GA and I can not afford to buy it from where I work. I would love to support someone who sugars with their horses. I am only looking for a gallon of heaven in a plastic jug.

OMG, that read so funny in the ‘recent’ posts column on the home page. I would reconsider your choice of abbreviations…:p

December 1, 2011 at 1:55 pm #70100JeanParticipantOh boy, now I have to choose between VT or NH maple syrup. This is one of those choices we hope we never have to make in life.
December 1, 2011 at 4:22 pm #70128Ed ThayerParticipantJean,
I will make it easy for you, you get the VT and Kevin can have the NH. Then they can debate the differences at a later date 🙂

December 1, 2011 at 9:15 pm #70084Scott GParticipantI make a motion that we have a gallon of each for consumption Sunday morning at breakfast by an unbiased panel of judges. We (notice the “we”) will then decide which State takes the prize, NH or VT. It is quite fortunate that this event will be held on neutral ground in MA 🙂

December 2, 2011 at 12:33 am #70112jen judkinsParticipantHoly crap! Maple syrup from 4 states! Forget the logging…we have a full on taste test on Sunday morning…keep the pancakes coming!
December 2, 2011 at 12:51 am #70136bradleyModeratorAlright, Syrup taste test Sunday morning. Don’t forget Massachussetts, we made some too.
