    OK,
I have been reading this thread for weeks now and I am so jealous of everyone who is going to be at Athol this weekend that it isn’t funny! Being out here in the middle of NW Ohio on nothing but flat land with miles of mechanized farming is so boring you would not believe it. I sometimes feel like I am reading the exploits of people from another world. If I didn’t think it would cause a divorce I would just disappear this weekend and join you all. If anyone takes pictures and or video this weekend, it would be wonderful to see. I am sure there are many on the board that would love to see them too!! (Hint hint) So, for everyone who IS going, have a wonderful time, learn much, and enjoy the company you are with. And if you get the chance, smile, and think of us poor bast**ds that are stuck at home wishing we were there!!

Another plus for horse logging. I never was able to carve a driveshaft for my 525 CAT skidder out of a sapling when broken down in the woods…;)

Start planning for next year, Gordon… 😉 If you’re obnoxious enough around the house maybe your wife will be pushing you out the door to go to the next DAPnet event!

Well, for those of us that can’t go, I’ve posted the location of The Farm School and this event on our map so we can see “where” the “what we’re missing” is located! Boo hoo hoo.

Best to all who can attend. Have fun, commune and learn.

Did you notice once the video is done, Youtube puts up a collection of related thumbnails, there are a lot of guys named Carl that pull a multitude of things 🙂

Great work everyone, hope you all had fun, it was quiet without you this weekend. Looking forward to hearing all about how it went.

Sitting here in the Manchester airport waiting to catch the plane back home. It’ll be a little surreal this afternoon when I’m back at my place on the mountain ~2000 miles away. Sure enjoyed being back in New England to visit with you folks again. 🙂
