as this is the book section, i’ll add a book about oxen.
this book, written by drew conroy, covers everything you need to know when planning to have oxen. some sections, though, only mention some steps, for example halter-breaking, or taming adult cattle. but don’t let that fool you, this book is the best, and most comprehensive written guide on oxen yet written, with lots of useful information from cattle psychology, selecting the calves, first steps, training steps, to shoeing and health.
i’d recommend it to anyone interested in oxen.
