I thought members might like to see something about the last remaining strip farming system in England, which is at a village near me: http://www.laxtonnotts.org.uk.
Although this system is no longer in general use, lots of fields in the UK still show the signs of strip farming and are protected by law from being ploughed up. Such fields are great to ride over at a canter.
