Treatment of Cushing’s Disease in Dogs

Hi

Our dog was recently diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease. I’ve been looking at different treatment options and most are cost prohibitive. Does anyone have experience in treating with compounds, herbs, or homeopathy?

I’ve also been looking for an alternative veterinarian in northern New Hampshire. Any leads?

She is a fantastic dog. Any information or anecdotes would be most appreciated.

I recently faced this situation myself with my valuable lgd. I learned that it progresses slowly so changed my dogs diet to mostly raw food. I figured I would wait a year before doing anything else. It is not easy to get good raw food for dogs or people so I started raising my own meat birds.
