Years ago my kids had saddle horses. We got a new neighbor and he had horses, so to keep them from fighting through the barbed wire fence we charged the top wire. That fall we watched a hunter coming toward that fence, he grabed hold that wire to climb over. That shotgun most have gone at least 20 feet into the air. The hunter just picked the gun up and went back the way he had come.
