Don’t know who made that one but TSC has a manual one.

carl nyParticipantI don’t know who made one but TSC has one they sell. All mechanical,no hydrolic.

carl nyParticipantIMHO I would say the old mower would be 4 ft. for single and 6 ft. for a team. I would also say that I&J are probably right on as I would think that the new machines would pull and cut a lot easier than the old style. Oh yeah, what are “vast flat plains”, Not in New York!!! LOL

carl nyParticipantJay, that pic. is awesome. I hope you don’t mind a little critique. That collar looks awful tight or way to high on that horse. Also the britchin might be a little low on the leg and a little tight. Just my opinion, worth exactly what you paid for it. Other than that it looks way cool.

carl nyParticipantI like Ash. many people use a lot of other types of wood, depends on what is available in your area.
carl ny
carl nyParticipantYou don’t want any knots in your pole. That’s what caused the break,my guess anyway. Hope your friend recovers soon.
carl ny
carl nyParticipantThat’s cheap, what are you waiting for???
carl ny
carl nyParticipantIn the back you could just run a chain up to the rack. the steering in the front makes it more difficult, especially if it’s not a fifth-wheel steer. Not sure how Pioneer does it. anything that will stop the ski from flipping .
carl ny
carl nyParticipantYes, they are bolted on just like the wheels are, and yes, you want to use stay chains.
carl ny
carl nyParticipantI know she’s part curly, what’s the other part??? she’s one nice looking horse.
carl ny
carl nyParticipantPioneer has runners that fit on their forecart and wagon. check them out to give you some ideas.
carl ny
carl nyParticipantIf that is a horse drawn disc, someone has done a lot of work to make it look like a tractor drawn disc.Other than the seat post, that doesn’t look like any HD that I’ve ever seen. Are there any brand or model # on it anywhere??
carl ny
carl nyParticipantAs long as you give them a selenium supplement, the red should be fine.
carl ny
carl nyParticipantI would believe that those are tractor drawn tandem disc,if that’s a seat post i think someone put it on there so they could use the front half with horses. JMHO
