ParticipantDonn do you think the double toungue would help in training a new horse. I am building a forecart and want to make it so I can offset the pole fore 3 abreast but wonder if double would help. Thanks Eli
ParticipantDonn we have a friend who is a weather man at a Greenbay tv station and I have a few Aminh friends, this year my Amish friends were more accurate with the weather. I told both about my forecast experance both just smiled. Yesterday I sold 26 round bales to county because they were not good enough to feed they will be housed as cover hay to grow grass. ParticipantI baled about 50 bales and only got stuck twice had the 560 farmall on the baler no wagon the hay is perfectly dry but the field is wet. I tryed mowing the rest of the field with the super C but I broke the pitmon. Tomorrow I will have the rest round baled. Then get ready for second crop which I hope to involve the horses more. Eli

ParticipantIt would be interesting to see a cross section. We did this years ago with several different tractor tillage tool. A ripper worked the best a ripper is like a sub spoiler with a horizontal bar to shatter the hard pan. Eli

ParticipantSo far so good with the team they have done everything I have asked them. The mare gets a little wound up but is getting better every day. Tomorrow I want to rake hay we only have a few rows on the edge of the field should be a pretty good test. I don’t plan on ever selling them. Eli

ParticipantChester is on the right Abby is on the left they are a good little team 13 years old been together their whole life. Different mother same father. I should have bought a broke team sooner I can’t wait to get home from work and hook them. So far I have pulled log arch a two wheeled cart and the disk. I hope to rake second crop hay but time will tell. Eli
