draft driver,
That list could go for all animals, not just horses………..
~~RRobernsonParticipantGood! That was getting agrivating. Glad you got it fixed!!!
~~RRobernsonParticipantWell. We didn’t get hooves trimmed this week:o I went over to my neighbors just for the sake of it and got to drive mules:) (if my mother was typing this the “smilie” would be ) It was great fun. We took the pair of mules down through the pasture to throw some hay out to the cows. To do that you must go down a very steep hill with the trailer to get to the pasture. On the way out you must go up the very same hill!!!!!!!! I was kinda scared. (you may now call me a wimp) You can not drive a tractor up this hill because of the angle. But the mules acted like it was no problem and didn’t even slip coming up.
All in all it was a good day…..we will see about the hooves soon.

Y4,
I totally agree about the computers. These things/machines are just the most up to date version of designed obsolescence, they are always not as good as advertised and are consistently disappointing in doing what you think they should. There are always restrictions, you can’t post a photo over this or that size, you can’t send but so many attachments and you constantly need an upgrade or new virus protection or more memory…… computers suck…
Now that big hitch of horses working the ground is a beautiful site and you seem to be doing pretty good for a start up or for making a transition.
Get a kid to help you post those photos, we’d like to see them despite all the honest complaints about computers.

Ditto. I have ALOT of “issues” with technology. But anyway nice hitch of horses!
~~RRobernsonParticipantNice looking animal!
~~RRobernsonParticipantWell,
She has settled in pretty well and knows the daily routine by heart (feeding especially:D) We have already started the bad habit of “making” me pet her when I pass by:). The hoof situation will be addressed next week. Not to much phases her except for cats. Oh my god, does she love cats! She tries her hardest to try to make friends with the cats but to no avail. (for some reason the cats don’t like to be brayed at?????) That is about all that has happened so far,I’ll keep ya posted!
~~RRobernsonParticipantI had 2 german shepherds. My oldest passed this summer. I also have mixed hound “creature” that is dumb as a box of rocks (sorry but it is the truth:o)
~RRobernsonParticipantThey’re pretty good.
~~RRobernsonParticipantI second that!! Happy new year.
~~RRobernsonParticipantoh one more question! When I walk past her to feed cows or sheep or whatever. She comes up to the fence and makes this,”wheezy, wheezy, wheezy” noise. She doesn’t bray she just wheezes until I pet her. Is this a “happy Donkey sound” or what?!?!?!?!?
~~RRobernsonParticipantDon,
She was driven at one time. The guy we bought her from said that she had a cart/harness that he got when he bought her,but sold it:(. He really wasn’t that bright in my humble opinion)
I’ll post pictures of the “creature” when I figure out how…………….
~~RRobernsonParticipantWell,
She’s home, fed, watered, and brushed. I will update you in the morning.
~~RRobernsonParticipantGood sites everybody!
~~RRobernsonParticipantJason,
I watched the video all the way through and must say that your work is very impressive!!(granted that doesn’t hold much weight coming from me but…..)~~R
RobernsonParticipantWell everybody,
