From what I know of weasels, they are nocturnal and would of gone after chickens in the coop. The damage would have been greater to, they are blood thirsty creatures and would have killed more then one chicken.
Could be a migrating kind of bird predator. Something that would happen in the open. Caught by suprise and left with parts of the carcass. Probably won’t happen again cause its gone south??? If your chickens are still free ranging and nothing happen then whatever got to that one is gone. A source of food is important for a predator at this time of year and free range chickens are an easy target. I would imagine it would have been back. So a migating predator easy meal on his way south.
Stray cats are good predators creeping up on its pray, but here there would have been some kind of struggle and the dog would have heard something.
Or Colonel Mustard in the dining room….
MikeMichel BoulayParticipantLOL good one Geoff. That got me thinking about where you are and I did a little research on google earth. Its kind of deceiving when you look at it.Your at 45 degrees 59 minutes latitude and I’m at 46 degrees 27 minutes latitude wich is less then a degree difference, so my conclusion is that we’re not that far from Santa,;) just kidding.
Great idea about marking harness shop, equipment sales, events etc… Could have different colored tabs for different catagories.
Mike
Michel BoulayParticipantSame here it was worth the effort. Once the account is set no problem.
Mike
Michel BoulayParticipantNo, no google account.
Michel BoulayParticipantHi Geoff,
on the upper right of the members list I have “save to my places”. When I click that it asks me to sign in. My browser is internet explorer 8. Could be there is a setting that is not enable. I’ll keep on looking.
MikeMichel BoulayParticipantIf I’m using Internet Explorer do I have to register and then sign in? Ethan when I go to the link I have the world map on the right and on the left Dapnet with blue tabs and those who have maped there location. Can’t find edit on that page. Have tried everything that I know of clicked on everything right clik here and there and nope nothing? Is it internet explorer?
MikeMichel BoulayParticipantSorry for your lost Carl. Know the feeling lost one this summer, like you, been through it before. The younger one was lost for a while but in time things settle. Like Robert said the good ones seem to find us. Always had lab or lab mix difficult to change breed. Again rip Jake.
MikeMichel BoulayParticipantHi Farmallb, found these two sites, http://www.oxbowwagonsandcoaches.com and http://www.voituresrobert.com. They probably have what you are looking for if not they would be good contacts.
Mike
Michel BoulayParticipantHappy birthday! Have a great day both of you.

Michel BoulayParticipantSame here been keeping my oats in a blue plastic barrel for the last three years with no issue. If you cut your barrel right at the top where it sort of curves in then you can use the top up side down and it will fit as a cover, worked fine for me. I have a white plastic barrel but the top isn’t made the same way so the top doesn’t fit as well.
MikeMichel BoulayParticipantWow, that is impressive, when they say flash flood warning now you can see how fast it it can rise. Here its the opposite high winds starting around 3am and now there up to 60km gusting to 90km. Sitting on the deck at the cottage this dead tree fell of a sudden, photo, what a rush. Minimal dammage on the trim we were lucky. Storm surge in the Bay of Fundy and up to 100km wind there in the marshes.
Michel BoulayParticipantCool video these guys didn’t need to be coaxed to go to bed like we say they slep like a log. Amazing what a horse can pull in the right conditions.
Thats about the amount of snow we got this winter in just 2 months.
From no snow at christmas to 4 feet of the white stuff at the end of february. Had some warm spell last two weeks and it is going down pretty good but still a good 2 feet left. Here are a couple of pics. Snow got over the fence for a while.[ATTACH]1731.jpg” />[ATTACH]1732.jpg” />
Michel BoulayParticipantMy daughter had 100 gallons(imp) or 450 litres delivered and it was .93 cents a litre tax not included. That is here in New-Brunswick. Here tax is 13%so that 100 litres was $468. Diesel here is $1.23/litre, gazoline $110/litres.
Every week on thursday they have a readjustment of prices, which could vary from 1 to 4 cents or stay the same. As everywhere else in North America we all complain about high prices, so in our province they play with this readjustment thing. Don’t really understand the formula but its based on the barrel of oil price at the NYSE.
So they play with everybody’s mind every week. On wednesday via media they let you know if the price is going up or down, an estimate . If you go by the gaz tanks on wednesday and see poeple gasing up you know price is going up.
I guest you could go from state to state or province to province and find some difference everywhere you go(taxes and prices). And all that time those gaz companies are making mil.. huh billions. Its not as if where going to stop buying oil or gaz tomorrow so why play with us this way????
Guess I could go on and on and……:(:confused:Michel BoulayParticipantwas there about 45 minutes ago not anymore
Michel BoulayParticipantHi George,
you are use to the 365 wich is about the same weight as the 372, and the 372 is more powerfull and more expensive. So it all depends on what your looking for. I went on the husqvarna site for the states and they give prices and all the specs, makes it easier to compare.
Chainsaws have new features that make it easier to start, tighten chain and some. Right now I’m working with a 257 about 10 years old with a decompression button on the side that makes starting easier, not to heavy but does not have the power of the 365 or 372 and weight which makes a difference at the end of the day. You probably don’t want to downsize. All depends on what your cutting. Maybe that tired 365 with new rings will give it new life and less expensive then a new one.
good luck,
