Bill, they are yours!!!
Thanks
JeanJeanParticipanthave you checked with Save your ass long ear rescue in NH? They have a team of mules that are supposed to drive and they have a draft mule that drives. I think they also have some standard donkeys. You can google them.
JeanParticipantBill, can you email them to me at jmnvt@yahoo.com and I will upload them for you?
Jean
JeanParticipantbeautiful horse. I was in an indoor arena yesterday and gun shots were fired outside. I jumped, my horse did not miss a beat. Our neighbor shoots a lot near the horse paddock. I love it that he is ok with it and I did not do a thing to make that happen.
JeanParticipantJay, How awful for you. I know how much you wanted this to happen. I have noticed as my mother ages she is not able to make the most simple decision, she has to run everything by somebody and it is funny how she trusts a man more, she will ask me, then go ask my husband to verify what I said was right.
Stay positive and something else will come around.
I do hope to see you at DAPFD.

JeanParticipantI will be driving from Vergennes VT. I will leave early on Friday and come back on Sunday afternoon late. I have room for one person if they don’t have a bunch of stuff to bring.

JeanParticipantIt is so exciting to have Doc Hammill on the east coast. All these events are going to be great. Doc teaches with safety in mind. He has some great ideas to keep horses and people safe while driving. Very important to teach interns and new teamsters. Don’t miss this opportunity to speak to Doc and get some hands on lessons with him.
JeanParticipantCan you post some pictures of them?
JeanParticipantDo you work with the blue molly around the new mule? Just curious, I find when I work with one of my horses that is steady, then work with the other one that is silly about new things he is better if he has seen his mate do it without issue before him.
JeanParticipantI have heard that it is best to not soak the animal with water first, just put the mix mentioned above on including the dawn soap, then let it sit, then rinse with water.
JeanParticipantI can check with Sam at Shelburne Farms, they would be Brown Swiss, he does like to sell them to be used as Ox.
JeanParticipantHello Daniel, welcome to the group. Be sure to spend time with the Mules at Donn’s. You can learn a lot from a mule.
