Mailing is probably best. Can you send me one anvil to the address below. Send me your address and I’ll mail along a check. Thanks!

I would be willing to buy one or two of these. I’ll be in Jay, ME March 25-28 if you could get them there one of those evenings. Unfortunately I wont’ be able to go offsite except maybe late at night.

I plan to start making my own by breeding my mare next year. Within two years I plan to have much better barn facilities and try to produce a number of foals in the coming decades, simply because there is a shortage and I think it will be good to have them/ potentially sell them.
That said, I am going into it green, and will learn a lot in practice, and will make mistakes. As always, DAPNet will be a great conduit to folks with the knowledge I need.
I have no real breed preference, and I’m busy with full time work, but I’m going to do what I can and what I enjoy to keep some chunk horses around in this region.

We are getting a lot of prep work and early organization done and it’s already been a great reason to see friends. I look forward to seeing so many more folks this weekend. This heat wave’s going to break and the weather looks to be perfect!

I’d be interested in breeding my mare to such a beast as well.

If I could get down there before FD I’d bring it up for that. If not I could find time before snow to come get it. I’ve got the same machine I think. Good to have duplicates/parts.

Here’s a picture looking down to the farmstead. The renovation has continued from here. It’s a beautiful place.

We have an extensive corporate policy after incorporating as a business. Concord group bundles all our insurance (we are in NH) and though they are wicked expensive we are well covered for liability on and off farm for all activities we and our agent could dream up.
I also carry a personal umbrella policy that covers for anything (farm related or not) not covered by other policies, and covers if any claim payout is greater than other coverages.
It’s a lot, and expensive, but seems complete.
